Creating a New Report

To create a new report:

1. If the analysis objects are not visible, click View, Analysis Objects. The ILux client main window is subdivided vertically into two windows; the Analysis Objects window appears on the right.
2. In the ILux client main window,  create a new folder or select an existing folder.
3. Click New . The  Create Report dialog box appears.
4. Enter a Name and Description. If you want to apply an existing style sheet or filter, select the appropriate object from the drop-down list box.

   Using filters is strongly recommended. This helps you sort "the wheat from the chaff," or separate the trivial and inconsequential information from the data important to analyzing your web server activity.

5. Click OK. The Created and Modified date fields are completed by the system.
6. Add the  analysis objects you want to make up your report.
7. Add a  Report Section (or subtitle) if needed
8.  Schedule or  run the report.
