Changing ILux
Server Parameters

When you install ILux, you are required to supply a number of parameters describing the web server and web sites you want ILux to monitor. It is possible that some of these parameters may change.

You can change the following values:

  • Maximum seconds between hits in a visit
  • Pause between log file read
  • Report file path
  • Report file URL
  • SMTP server name

To change the server parameters:

  1. Click View, Server Parameters.
  2. The first time during an ILux client session you select this command (or other related commands), the Server Password dialog box appears. You must enter a user name and password. Enter the Domain Source Name (DSN) user name and password used when the source name was created. Click OK.
  3. The ILux Server Parameters dialog box appears.
  4. Select the parameter you want to modify and enter the new value.
  5. Click Save Changes. Click OK to confirm the changes are correct.
  6. Click Close.
